Shipping Policies

Shipping Cutoff for all orders is Thursday at 8AM PST. All orders will be shipped the following Monday-Wednesday. 

Any orders placed after the cutoff will be shipped the following week to ensure your package does not get help up in transit or delivered on a non business day.

We are not responsible for any damages due to extreme weather and reccomend using express shipping whenever possible.

At Lazy Gardens DBA Succulent Wholesale, we take pride in carefully packaging and shipping healthy plants to ensure they arrive in the best condition possible. Below are the details of our shipping process and policies:

**Order Processing Time:**
- Orders are processed within **1-5 business days**, depending on the size of the order and availability of products.
- Please note that we do not process orders on **federal holidays** or during extreme weather conditions that could affect the health of the plants.
- During winter months, shipments may be delayed to avoid cold damage, and heat packs are available for purchase.

**Shipping Costs:**
- Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and destination of the order. We work to select the best and fastest shipping option available.
- The customer is responsible for all shipping fees, which will be added to the order total at checkout.

**Local Delivery:**
- We offer local delivery services from our location at **31210 Rivoli Road, Valley Center, CA 92082**:
- **$50 for up to 50 miles**
- **$100 for up to 100 miles**

**Shipping Methods:**
- We ship through various carriers depending on the destination and method chosen to ensure timely delivery and plant safety. The shipping method will vary between mail orders and local deliveries.

**Return to Sender:**
- If your package is returned to us as "Return to Sender," we will reship the same plants at the customer’s expense for reshipping costs, including any loss of plants incurred.

**Damages and Claims:**
- We carefully package each plant to minimize damage during transit. If your plants arrive damaged, please notify us immediately.
- Any product damage must be reported within **72 hours** of the package being marked as delivered, regardless of weekends, holidays, or business days. Claims must include photographic evidence of the damage.
- In the case of serious damage, we will offer store credit or a replacement. Refunds are not available.

**Stolen or Misdelivered Packages:**
- Lazy Gardens DBA Succulent Wholesale is not responsible for stolen or misdelivered packages. Customers must file a claim with the courier to recover the cost of the order. We will adhere to the courier’s ruling on such cases.

**Heat Packs and Cold Weather:**
- During winter, we recommend adding heat packs to your order to protect plants from freezing temperatures. The customer is responsible for purchasing heat packs if needed. We are not responsible for damage caused by cold weather if heat packs are not included.

**Note on Plant Condition:**
- While we take every precaution to ensure that plants arrive in good condition, plants are living organisms and may experience stress during transit. Minor leaf loss or slight discoloration is normal and usually temporary.
