Ferocactus emoryi, commonly known as Emory's Barrel Cactus, is a large, spherical cactus with distinctive, stout, spiny ribs. The plant has a thick green body covered in long, yellow spines that give it a spiky, dramatic appearance. Over time, it can grow several feet tall, making it an excellent addition to large containers or as a focal point in cactus gardens. In the summer, Ferocactus emoryi produces vibrant yellow flowers that bloom at the top of the cactus, adding a bright contrast to its spiny exterior.
