Ferocactus glaucescens, commonly known as the Blue Barrel Cactus, is a stunning cactus with a round, barrel-shaped body that features blue-gray to bluish-green coloring. The plant has pronounced ribs with long, yellow to red spines radiating from the surface, adding texture and drama. This slow-growing cactus can eventually reach a height of several feet, making it an excellent choice for larger containers or as a striking feature in desert gardens.
